MY RIDE HAS A BIT OF SENTIMENTAL VALUE TO IT. WHEN MY SON DUSTIN WAS BORN IN 1989, I HAD AN 82' GT IN DARK RED COLOR WITH T-TOPS. I ACTUALLY BROUGHT HIM HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL IN THIS MUSTANG. AS TIME WENT ON & BILLS PILED UP I HAD TO SELL THE MUSTANG.
FOR OVER A DECADE I SEARCHED FOR ANOTHER 82' GT, FINALLY SOMEONE ON THE INTERNET ANSWERED AN AD OF MINE SAYING A FRIEND OF HIS HAD ONE THAT WAS SITTING IN A GARAGE FOR THE LAST 6 YRS., AND IT WAS IN THE SAME TOWN I WORKED IN, ALTOONA, PA. WELL AFTER 1 VISIT, I BOUGHT IT.
FAST FORWARD TO PRESENT DAY, ITS BEEN PAINTED TO BONZAI BLUE,ORIGINAL ENGINE IS BORED .030 TO A 306, NEW FORD RACING 5 SPEED, WINDSOR HEADS, HOLLEY 750 CARB., 3:73 GEARS, COMPLETE RE-UPHOLSTER OF ORIGINAL INTERIOR, & 17" COBRA RIMS, JUST TOO MENTION A FEW THINGS I'VE DONE TO THIS GT.
MY SON IS NOW 18 & IS BUILDING HIS OWN MUSTANG, A 1979 PACE CAR , NOW WITH A 351W, TO BE ON THE ROAD THIS SUMMER 2008.

That is a beautiful Mustang you got there man a buddy of mine has a rolling chassie that needs a motor, trans, and a wiring harness. and it is for sale for 1200 hundred. the car that i am describing is an ASC mcClaren t-top car. Thats a dang nice Fox. I am partial to the Foxes personally! Love the paint and the 4 eyes. Great car. Looks mag worthy to me.

Nice ride,
Love the colour, and gen 1 fox bodies are a great platform. I can't wait to see your son's pace car, they are one of my favourites, as is the 84 20th anniversary GT350.
