My 1993 Thunderbird was bought new as the family car. We wanted something that was sporty, comfortable, and had the potential to be modified some time in the future. The modifications came latter than I had though, but I tried to make up for the late start, with an aggressive build.

The complete drive train gas been replaced. The rear is an aluminum 8.8 with a Detroit Locker and 3.55 gears. The transmission is a Lentech Strip Terminator, with a 3500 stall. The engine is a 393 stroker with all forged internals, Ford Z304 heads, Quickfuel carb, and a Vortech YSi supercharger running 15 psi of boost. It is fueled with E85.
