My father always had 66 Fairlanes, he has 2 now a 500xl and a 390 GT convert. when I was just 14y.o. he bought my my very own 67 We payed $350.00 for it. My Fairlane started out life as a 6cyl bench seat "grandma's car". A friend and I did a complete ground up restoration and now its a 350hp 289 and black GT bucket interior, belive me the work was not easy, but it sure payed off. I love taking it to car shows and doing burn-outs. I have a few more things in store for her but gotta save up first.
