This car was given to my wife in 1995 as a graduation present, it was a bone stock 6cyl car, in 2000 we change all the suspension and added a 302. it sat in the back of the garage for the next 10 years, in summer of 2011, I started gathering parts and supplies, in January of 2012 we pulled it in and stripped it. installed a rack and pinion conversion, disc brakes, 15 gallon polished aluminum fuel cell, 17 inch wheels, we custom made the grille fitted with shelby high beams, added chin spoiler, lowered the car 3 inches all the way around, all the suspension was blasted and powdercoated chrome and completely rebuilt. added a 1 1/8 sway bar. I redone the entire interior, built a gauge cluster that houses autometer phantom II gauges. custom stereo system. b&m shifter. the engine is a .30 over 302, thumper cam, dart iron eagle heads, 2.02 1.6 valves, c-4 with a 2800 stall, I changed all emblems to cobra, added a 3 inch cowl hood, and shelby deck lid. engine bay is completely detailed, it has a flowmaster super44 2 1/2 inch header back system. all the work was performed in my garage (Outlaw Garage) we drive this alot, take it to shows we have won alot of trophies, When I started the rebuild, I wanted it different. And its Different. we get lots of looks with this. the car is pretty fast, and handles like a dream.
