I bought my 97 Pacific Green Cobra in November of 2011, At the time it already had a T56 swap from an 04 Cobra, Vortech V1 S Trim supercharger and a all forged bottom end to handle the power. The suspension consisted of Eibach lowering springs and KYB shocks and struts. The 1st thing I did was take it to the track. After a few low 12 passes at 117MPH I started to up the power, by adding a Vortech air to water after cooler and modifying it to use a 03-04 Cobra heat exchanger. I then whent back to the track and made my current best of 11.77 @ 122 with a 1.91 60FT.
The suspension was improved for drag racing by replacing the lowering springs for some stock GT rear springs with QA1 adjustable shocks with UPR lower arms and Steed adjustable Uppers and a Steeda sway bar.
The front got a lightweight K member from UPR, Lakewood 90/10s, and Eibach drag launch front springs. To lower the race weight I added a set of Greg Weld 17x4 front runners and Weld Alumastar 2.0 rear wheels in 15x8s wrapped in MT 26x10x15 ET Drags.
To finalize everything I hit the rollers at All Out Automotive in Glassboro NJ and had Kris retune the car using SCT software where it made 450 on pump gas and 503 on VP103. To date I have yet to make it back to the track but hoping to see my 1st 10 second pass this year.
